Riyadh — The International Minifootball Coaching Course kicked off today in its first phase inside the Kingdom, under the supervision of the International Minifootball Federation (IMF), with the participation of 33 trainees representing various regions of Saudi Arabia. The program is being held at the Al-Nahda Model Community Center.
The course was officially opened by Abdullah Al-Wuhaibi, member of the IMF Technical Committee, on behalf of IMF President Dr. Mohammed Al-Dosari, with the attendance of Women’s Committee Chair and General Supervisor of the course, Ameera Al-Aryani.
The training program is led by international instructor Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, as part of a series of accredited international courses through which the IMF aims to train, qualify, and elevate coaching standards in accordance with global best practices.
Additional programs of the same nature are scheduled to follow across various regions of the Kingdom, supporting the growing development movement within this emerging sport.
These initiatives are expected to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s presence on the global minifootball map and enhance the capabilities of local coaching talent in line with the sport’s rapid progress. The course represents a key milestone within the joint development plan between the IMF and the Saudi Minifootball Association, aimed at building a specialized national coaching ecosystem and launching competitive and developmental programs in the near future.
