In a historic day in Surabaya, Indonesia, the President of the Asian Confederation of MiniFootball and Chairman of the Indonesian MiniFootball Committee, Dr.Yan Abidin, announced the launch of the Indonesian League at a grand ceremony. The event was attended by the Vice President of the Asian Confederation of MiniFootball and Director of International Relations at the International MiniFootball Federation, Mr. Khalid Al-Hadid, who signed the hosting agreement for the Asian MiniFootball Cup in February and the World MiniFootball Cup in September on behalf of the President of the International MiniFootball Federation, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dosari. Dr. Yan Abidin signed the agreement, officially declaring Jakarta the capital of MiniFootball for 2026.
Dr. Yan promised that the Asian Cup and the World Cup will be exceptional tournaments, remembered as some of the best international championships for all participating nations. He added that Indonesia is a hospitable country and will provide all the necessary resources for a successful event. He concluded by welcoming the world to Jakarta. Mr. Khaled Al-Hadid confirmed that he was present today on this wonderful day on assignment from the President of the International MiniFootball Federation, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dosari, and conveyed the greetings of the Executive Office of the International Federation, which expressed full confidence in Dr. Yan Abidin and his team to advance MiniFootball in Asia and internationally.
